Jürgen Weidinger is head of Chair for Landscape Architecture since 2009. Teaching covers design theories, methods, and studio work. His research interests are theories of atmosphere and aesthetics in landscape architecture. Furthermore he is participating in the movement of design based research, e. g. PEP doctorate program in landscape architecture and architecture at the TU Berlin. He is director of Weidinger Landschaftsarchitekten based in Berlin, specialising in urban parks, squares, streets and open spaces interlinked with architecture in the sectors culture, education and corporate. publications
